New Stamp !!

I couldn't resist this little stamp any longer so I was really pleased when I saw a post of UKS to say they had them back in stock. Isn't he/she beautiful, you can colour it in which ever colour you want to. This is one I made for a little boy obviously, with all the blue ! The stamp is available from http://www.pinkgemdesigns.com/catalog/.

I also made a choccie advent box yesterday. I made a few of these last year. I came across the idea from the Bubbly Funk website. It's made out of matchboxes and the little drawers are just the right size to take the mini cadbury dairy milk little bars....you know the ones, the ones you put in a little money machine, not sure if they still make them anymore though, the money machines that is !

The 1st of the Advent Calendars !

I had a little break from card-making last night and made the 1st of a few advent calendars that will be needed for the stall.
These are so quick to make if you take care with the measurements so that there's no faffing about when you come to bind it with the Bind it All.You'll just need to measure carefully the width of the flip over tags that have the numbers on, to make sure they are both in the center of the three wires.
I coloured the stamped image with my Promarkers.

Morning all !

I hope you all had a nice lie in ! I get quite depressed at this time of the year when the clocks go back as I hate the winter dark nights.......roll on spring LOL.
In between watching X Factor last night I made this card for the October Card Challenge on UKS based on a choice of three sketches from Page Maps. I used the third sketch of sorts to make this A5 size card. Took quite a while to glitter all those bits though and even longer to let them all dry. It's lovely and glittery though in real life.

It's getting a bit boring now !!!!

Yes, as the title of this post suggests, you've guessed it ! I'm now getting a bit bored with making Christmas cards and I still hvae some more to do in the next couple of week for my fair stall.

Here's a few that I've made since my last post. The Mickey Mouse one and the Baby's first Christmas tent pop up card were inspired from the Christmas with the Cricut blog that I lifted the green cards on my previous post.
The 1st Snowman card was made using this weeks sketch over at www.thepixiecottage.blogspot.com
I had to experiment with a black & white card but I'm not quite sure about it, although it's much more glittery in real life. I quite like it but not sure if anyone else would !!!!
The rest are just a selection !

Hope you enjoy them and have a good week-end.

Blog Hopping !

Whilst I was blog hopping last night, purely because I was bored and had run out of mojo for cards, I came across this blog
http://cricutchristmas.blogspot.com/search/label/Cricut%20-%20Joys%20of%20the%20Season%20Cartridge

Fab site for all us Cricut owners to make use of our little machines for Christmas preparations I think.
I fell in love with this card and lifted it!!

I then decided to make an A5 card using the same sketch for this one :

Finally a bit of mojo came back and I found these die cuts in my christmas box so made this very quick & easy card. I embossed the bottom half of it with the Cuttlebug Devine Swirl embossing folder in my big shot.

Back to the cutting & glueing then....thanks for looking, have a good day !

Cheap to make Christmas Cards

I went into Staples a couple of days ago and while I was waiting to pay for my bits & pieces there was a basket full of christmas tags complete with a die cut chipboard embelishment stuck onto the front of them....9 tags for £1.50 bargain I thought ! I could pull them apart and use the penquin, santa's hat & the stocking on some small modern like, 4" square cards !!!! I then passed a cheapy christmas shop that's obviously on a temporary lease and found these lovely chipboard bauble tags for 50p a packet.
I really like the simplicity of the 4" cards so I think I'll make another trip to Staples and get a few more packets LOL

I've also made a couple of Baby girl cards with some left over October Afternoon " Ducks in a Row" pp. I lifted these from Moralia's blog....wow she has some fantastic cards on there, do pop over to have a look

Right, back to some more christmas makes for my stall. Have a good week-end everyone.
