Kaiser Drawer Chest

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and that you didn't eat too much, unlike me !!!
I spent both days with my family. On Christmas day we were all together at Sian's house....fairly noisy with five children around but we did have fun. I was also at Sian's on Boxing day while Carys & family went to the in-laws in Norfolk.

Following on from the previous post, this is the larger Kaiser Drawer Chest that I decorated, this time for Molly.
Like the previous one, I have used the Prima Fairy Belle collection. With a lush bling M alpha that I bought at the Merly Impressions crop last month. It wasn't really meant to be used on this chest LOL! so I need to get another one now to use on the LO that I had in mind when I bought it !!!!

The chests are here if you fancy having a go at one yourself.

and here are some more views........

A pretty little chest !

Some time ago I bought this little Kaiser beyone the page chest from Merly Impressions with the intension of decorating it for either Emily or Molly to store their dance medals in.At the moment they are in an old shoe box in the bottom of DD's wardrobe! At last I have been moved to get it done. It will have to be Emily's though as Molly has too many medals to fit in ! I've got a larger one waiting in the wings to be finished before Christmas for her. I've used some Prima Fairly Belle product which suited the project well as the "fairies" are ballerinas LOL.
I'm off to put another coat of paint to the other chest and while that is drying I have a few Christmas presents to wrap ! Thanks for calling by and have a nice day.

Kaisercrafts Beyond the Page

It's my youngest daughter birthday tomorrow, yes I know I didn't work that out very well to have a baby on New Year's Eve all of 34 years ago !!!!!!
I saw a couple of these in the Kaiser Magazines and thought it would be a lovely idea to make one with the photos of my two granddaughters in, to hang in her bedroom.
I'm really pleased at how this has turned out so I'm crossing my fingers she'll like it !
The frame can be bought "naked" from Merly Impressions here as well as all the patterned papers if you fancy making one yourself. I used the After Five collection. The chipboard words can also be bought from Merly Impressions too. I painted the frame with black acrylic paint and the chipboard words were painted in red and covered with glossy accents.

Baby Book

Well I've finally finished the Baby Board Album that I started some weeks ago and then had to leave to get on with some Christmas Cards.

It's a 7 x 5 chipboard tabbed book that I bought last year from Ally Pally and I've used Webster Pages Lullaby Lane papers with some extra little bits from stash.

We had a good Card evening at DD2 last night and there's £50 on it's way to Marie Curie Cancer Care out of the proceeds. For the past three years DD2 has held this evening for me to sell some of my cards & bits & bobs. I send 25% of the proceeds on to Marie Curie as a very small thank you for the support they gave me & both DD's and especially to my husband during the last week of his life.
Unfortunately we didn't have as many people there this year as some of the usual people had already made previous arrangements to go into town to watch the Christmas Lights switch on. We must make sure it doesn't clash again next year !

I've got three more of these waiting in the box to make up, so I'll be off to make a start!!!
