UKS Card Challenge

Browsing the card forums on UKS this afternoon ( I do enjoy looking at all those fantastic cards the members post on there, there's some real talent about that's for sure)I decided to have a go at the August Challenge. I haven't made any cards for a couple of weeks now, this one wasn't going to tax my brain too much either LOL. It had to be as plain as you like. Made this with a few layers of Bazzill scraps ( knew I kept them for something) a Bazzill chip topper, I have no idea why I bought so many of these, but they've been hanging around for what seems like years, a bit of ribbon and voila, a very quick to make card !

Where has the time gone !

I just cannot believe that it's been a month since I've posted anything on this blog....where has the time gone ?

My lovely cyber friend Carol came down from Rochdale for this week-end just gone. It was so lovely to meet her after all this time. We were just trying to work out how long we had been chatting on-line for, we reckoned it was coming up to 4 years from the time I started scrapping and we used to chat on Canny Craft forum, sadly no longer there.
She was very generous and brought with her some absolutely gorgeous Prima stash. PP from the Eire collection ( some of which I've used already on the Marathon LO below) some "to die" for Prima flowers including the beautiful Painterly Petals & a box of Bella Fleur....how beautiful are these? Again, I've used just one of them as they're very precious, on the Marathon LO below.A bottle of Prima Got flowers and the most beautiful packet of Say it in Crystals Black Swirls together with a packet of Postage Stamp Alphabets. So how lucky was I BUT that is not all, the par de resistance ( is that how you spell it ) was the most beautiful framed collage of stamped twinchies....absolutely beautiful it was.It has now pride of place on my hall wall. Thank you Cal, I shall treasure it x.
