A Slide for today

This is a wedding book that I've been doing off and on for a year, how bad is that ? It's been made for my daughters best friend and as my grand-daughter was her bridesmaid she's going to give it to her tomorrow on her anniversary.
The papers used are all from the Making Memories " I Do " collection. Sorry about the quality of the images but I was in rather a hurry this morning taking the photos as my daughter was on her way to collect it....nothing like leaving everything to the last moment is there? !!!

I was going to make a slide of the teachers book too but decided against it as that pet game is driving me nuts popping up on all the slides. I don't know how to get rid of the thing though.

Anyhow, this is one of the two teachers books I made last week. I seem to have missed taking the photo of a couple of pages though but mever mind you get the idea :) The book was made with the papers from the May kit from Sarah's Cards ( link on the right side )

Patriotic Father's Day

Well I do hope that England will win a week tomorrow otherwise some of the football mad fathers out there are not going to have a very good day on the Sunday. Not that I like football one bit and to be honest I shall be glad when it's over but I do inderstand how people can be carried away with something that they enjoy. Having said that, I really do hope England will do well, better still win the World Cup. I remember the celebrations when the won it in 1966 well !!!

So here's a patriotic father's day card I made this afternoon together with some Wedding Cards that I forgot to upload yesterday..enjoy !

A variety of Cards

A lot of Images !!!
I've got another Craft Fayre coming up on Saturday, this time at my grand-daughters school. Looking through the stock at the last fayre I noticed that I was getting a little low on Wedding/Anniversary cards, so here are a few I've been making this week.
Sorry for the bad photography, I just quickly picked up my point & shoot Fuji and it doesn't seem to be focusing properly. Must check out the settings as I lent it to my daughter a while back and it seemed fine when I gave it to her !!!

I lifted this one from one that was featured on Scrapbook Etc site recently, quite quirky I think !

This one was made using my new Martha Stewart wide Trellis Border Punch that my daughter brought back from the US for me last week. I can see me using this punch quite a lot, it's lovely !

The inspiration for this card came from one that Mystik Nat on UKS did a while ago. Here's a link to her blog, you'll have to scroll through a bit to find it but there's some fab cards along the way !

here

Made with a cuttlebug embossing folder and an x cut dimentional butterfly punch. Love the punch but it's got it's disadvantages, you can only use it one way as the butterfly is positioned sideways on it. I really wanted them to go along the bottom but they would be flying on their sides if I did that !!

That's it for today, hope you enjoy looking and thank you if you're inclined to leave a comment, I do appreciate them.

Too many weddings !!

My youngest daughter has had three weddings to go to over the last couple of months. I'm now getting a bit fed up of making personalized wedding cards, these are the last two I have made for the last wedding on Friday. The wedding cake shaped card was cut on the Cricut from the Wild Card Cartridge
While I was in the throws of making cards I also made a start on some simple Christmas cards !!!

Busy Busy Busy !

Just a quick up date. Can't believe how quick this week has gone.
I've got another Spring Fayre to do in a couple of weeks and the stall looked a bit empty of bits other than cards last Saturday, so I thought I would get a few things done. Here's the first. Its a chipboard mini heart book that could be used as a modern day horseshoe for a bride on her wedding day.

Wedding Cards

Well I did get round to making a couple of Wedding Cards today. The cards are actually dark brown although the photos make them look a bit black IMO !
