Had a fantastic Week-end !

I returned home last night about 7.30pm after having a fantastic week-end at Sarah's Cards retreat in Warrington.
Everything was so well planned, the classes were fab, great bunch of people, a million laughs, a couple of very late nights and an eye popping shop for some retail therapy. So what more could one wish for. It really was a great week-end and I can't wait to go again next year.
She's having another one in November if anyone is interested. I can certainly recommend it. Have a look here

Here are four of the six classes that we did there. Still got a couple of things that I need to add to the other two before I photograph them. They were all designed & taught by various member of Sarah's Cards Design team and there was also one from Leanne Mawer, Sarah business assistant.
The first one is by Claire Wheatley. An absolutely fabulous page made with Websters Pages Vintage Vogue. The was a lot of cutting out on this one and it's got a fabulous 3d effect in real life. I'm not sure if I've caputured how lovely it looks in a photograph. I've included some close up images to try and highlight this.I was brave enough to use my own wedding photos for this layout !
If you click on the photographs you'll be able to get a better view.

This one was by Natalie Grant and used My Mind's Eye Fine & Dandy...one of my favourite manufacturers. The little Owl we made from felt is just absolutely adorable. This is Charlie a couple of years ago, cheating at football !!

Layered Lace by Lianne Mawer next. A lovely feminine LO using Dear Lizzie Enchanted by American Craft. Yes, she did make us cut the roses from 12 x 12 sheet of the Lace paper in this line !!!! Managed it in the end but had to be careful where I was cutting and kept looking sideways to see where everyone else was cutting !! A beautiful class and I've used Sian ( DD1) and Adrian's wedding photo for this class.

Last but certainly not least is a distressing & inking class by the very talented Rachael Elliott. Loved all the distressing & inking we had to do on this one and I've been even braver here and used a couple of photos of me when I was twenty one.Dig the hairstyle !!!

There was also a couple of make & takes running throughout the week-end and I will post them, hopefully tomorrow as the light has gone here now.
