Just a card today !

It's my friends birthday on Thursday so I'm really organized making her card this early, it's normally the night before for most peoples birthdays !
I've used the very last bits of the Sarah's cards kit for this one, punched the borders with a Martha Stewart edge punch, added a length of ribbon and made a flower from some hearts punches and embossed the top part with a cuttlebug embossing folder, added a craftworks card greeting and voila !

Last of the Christmas cards.

I do hope you all had a lovely Christmas and that Santa bought you some nice pressies. I had a lovely time with the family, Christmas Day with my youngest daughter and boxing day with my oldest. I've been poorly for the last three days though with an awful cold, sore throat and my body feels as if it's been kicked to death. I am having a better day today but still coughing & sneezing. On a brighter note, it's been raining here and it's cleared all the snow !!!!! Thank goodness for that I say and crossing my fingers that we don't get any more !

I just thought I would post the last few Christmas Cards I made to finish off for this year. I went to a local Garden Centre a while ago and in among the Christmas Decs were these little minature named stockings. So I bought four of them, one each for my four grandchildren. They were thrilled to have their names on a little stocking on their cards. Molly was over the moon with hers and thought I had drawn Hello Kitty !!!! I did confess and tell her that I downloaded the image off the web and cut her out.
The last one is a card I made for a friend of mine in Canada

Christmas Christmas Christmas !!

Yes it's creeping up on us at a very quick pace. I've been busy making a few more cards but I haven't started any Christmas present shopping at all. In actual fact I haven't done anything on a personal level towards Christmas at all !!
I've now got four Kaisercrafts beyond the page MDF countdown to Christmas projects to make. So here's a few of the cards that I've made over the last week and I'll sure post the finished countdown to Christmas projects as soon as I've finished them.

I bought the blank countdowns and the papers from
Merly Impressions Pop over to their website and have a look at the gorgeous Kaiser goodies you can use for your Christms projects.

Hi, I'm still here !!

Yes I'm still here. Had a bit of a shock when I saw how long ago it was since I've posted on this blog.

I've been away to Cyprus for a couple of weeks and up to Wales for a few days since the last post so haven't done much scrapping at all, well non really !!! Then last week-end Molly was dancing at Royston Festival, so had to go and watch!! Made it all worth while though as she won the cup at her Ballet and came 2nd in her song & Dance. Then yesterday it was my birthday and both my daughters treated me to a visit to the theatre to see Hairspray...fab show.
I've started in putting this no crafting time to right though and I'm in the middle of making a baby board book using the gorgeous Lullaby Lane papers from Webster's.
The problem with me is that if a project take too long or I end up having too many interuptions I loose interest in it, which is what happened this week. All good intentions to do a few more pages but I got side tracked and made a few cards instead.
Bought a new Christmas Stamp and a Papermania embossing folder which arrived at the beginning of the week, so what's a girl got to do?...try them out immediately of course...which is what I did !!!
Whilst I was at it I made a couple of baby cards too.
So just to be getting on with here's a few cards I made.

I'm off now to try my new Tim Holtz Tattered Florals Die, which arrived yesterday. Oops! there I go again......will try and finish the baby books first though I think !

Friday Sketchers

Thought I would pop over and see what their sketch was like today. I don't enter my cards for the challenge though but if you would like to have a go pop over to their blog here
The image was sent to me from my friend Tracy some time ago and although I coloured it in at the time I hadn't got round to making a card with it.

I made another patriotic father's day card last night, this time using an image that was on a set of stamps from Papermania and another random birthday card using up some odd bits of pp I had left over......better than putting them in the bin I say !

Back to some more crafting now. I still need to bag a couple of dozen cards up before tomorrow morning, ready for the school fayre in the afternoon. So it might be a better idea if I did those first I think !

I found these chipboard teachers bits and the tag while I was looking for something entirly different. Can't even remember when or where I got them from to be honest but might as well put them to good use, so another teacher thank you card.

Patriotic Father's Day

Well I do hope that England will win a week tomorrow otherwise some of the football mad fathers out there are not going to have a very good day on the Sunday. Not that I like football one bit and to be honest I shall be glad when it's over but I do inderstand how people can be carried away with something that they enjoy. Having said that, I really do hope England will do well, better still win the World Cup. I remember the celebrations when the won it in 1966 well !!!

So here's a patriotic father's day card I made this afternoon together with some Wedding Cards that I forgot to upload yesterday..enjoy !
